Hello, everyone i would to get yalls opinion im wanting to get the two speed transmission for my mt but demon rc seems to be M.I.A. but i have found the super belt drive kit with a few different pulleys and im considering going with that any input would be appreciated.

its steep mod for a speedy MT, resources toward MORE power would be the most effective step. may not effectively change topend but nice and sprinty it will be.

if you have power THEN you can start tweaking the gears a little for better topend, the MT comes with low torquey setup for a reason... unless u change wheel/tire combo the motor wind up will drag with taller ratio and.... hi speeds = hi damage.

My set up is a 4 bolt 32cc with a 1107 walbro and a jetpro side mounted pipe. The current factory gearing it does in fact wind up really quick it just plains out on the top end and sounds as if its begging for another gear. i would like to get the extra top end but don't want to sacrifice any low end to get it if that makes any sense which is why i was considering the 2 speed but it seems like i may be waiting a long time where as i could get the super belt drive and just play with the pulleys until i get what i want

As a first step, you could give it a longer gear and install an 8k clutch to cover the loss of launch torque.

Yes, I agree, but the 8k clutch for instance, I'm pretty sure it won't have such a drastic effect on reliability. If you're gonna break something in the drivetrain, you'll probably do it by landing WOT or smth similar.

My DR can destroy cups with a 6K

Hitting it with 8K revs isn't going to help

I have upgraded to the MT cups which are better but still break

It just takes a bit longer
