I have the white lithium grease in house. Can this be used for my FG MT diff? The current grease in the diff is yellow'ish. What's the best grease I can use for this?

Thanks.

I've been using white lithium grease in my diff on my FHMT. No problems, although someone will probably post here that they have had white lithium dissolve their steel gears or something! ;)

Can I add and mix the white lithium grease with the existing yellow grease or I have to completely clean the yellow grease before adding the white stuff?

In theory, they're all to provide lubing to the gears, so they should be happily touching each other :)

If in doubt brake cleaner is a great fast way to clean out the residue without disassembly.
