upgrade kit

hi all i just got my new ramp from daves discount motors today before i went to work and i have a couple of questions my first question is does the upgrade kit alow you to run dual steering servos or not? and my second question is my truck body was cracked across the bed and has deep gouges on the window i am going to call dave tomorrow do you think they will send me a new body? man i cant believe how massive this truck is its huge i can see this being very addicitive lol thanks.

first thing is first. daves wont really do much for the shell, but try.. if nothing, take a pic of it and send it to redcat with a nice note asking them what you should do.. you'll get a new shell. mine was cracked and they shipped it the next day...


the upgrade kit is for V1 only. no stearing upgrades in that box. make sure you install all the upgraded stuff as its NEEDED.

I think we need to update the pre run checks sticky for new ramp owners

i'll work on that tonight. maybe we can put our thoughts together and come up with an updated list..

well i called dave and told him what happened and he shipped me out a new body today free of charge great to deal with. what steering servos are you guys running i got a hitec 805 and it wont fit its too big? thanks

the 805 will fit. you have to slide it in from the bottom and remover the lower mounting tabs on the servo mount.. s= the screw that go thru the chassis will be a little tight. most of us are running hitechs, wich all mount up the same. redcat does make a futaba servo mount, but not many have it


with the 805, make sure you keep the servo saver really loose becouse of the plastic drive gears..
