hello im Jim.i have a stock fg monster truck and im willing to buy the following products


as for engine
6+HP RACE PORTED ZENOAH G260RC from oneill brothers

as for exhaust
SILENCED JETPRO FG MT5 MONSTER TRUCK PIPE

All opinions are acceptable.
Finally i will be open to hear new ideas and combinations.
 
Im partial to the ESP motors myself. seen a few of the obros motor run and they do seem to be well performing motors. with Doug being a Michigander, i like to try to keep the michigan economy from dying out, but if Doug moved to Cali, then i would still get his motors. just my preferance.


I just stuck an ESP 27.2 in my baja, and im quite impressed with it even running the stock exhaust can.

either would be a good motor. i hear that JP does great on the MTs. not sure how it differs from the JPs for the baja. the baja JP is a bit of a dog on the low end, but just screams up top.
 
Upgrades are great but should be done in steps. I would upgrade the gears to alloy 1st, then the rear diff to alloy, then the pipe and motor, then your going to need new alloy MT uprights and front brakes. And the list goes on and on and on and on...:clown: The alloy motor mounts are a good idea but not a 1st with the MT due to the supports on both side of the motor.
Ask away your in a good place for MT info.:)
 
Welcome, as for engine mods, why don't you just get yourself a big bore kit?

A stock Zenoah will throw a FG around real good.

For the exhaust, check this oneRN6012.webp
I have one comong in the mail probaly a couple more weeks its coming from a land far far away.

Forget that motor.... sorry I had to tell you straight up.
Get that pipe.
Get the alloy engine mounts left and right hand side.
Get a steel spur gear.

And away you go.

As of this minute right now, I have only ever seen one engine (that I can remember) make 6+ hp and it wasnt what your looking at so spend your money elsewhere.
 
I would run this way....whatever engine you want.

Steel clutch pinion .....the plastic wont last long
alloy spur gear carrier with the stock plastic spur gear (your weak link)
alloy upper rear arms......saves your spur gear's teeth
replace the front uprights when needed
alloy motor mounts......
a prefilter over your stock air filter
pull cord cover/filter
SS Diff Cover

I am from the Netherlands, and RN tuning is a respectable company who makes a lot of pipes for differend type of cars, but it is a small company!
They make every pipe by the hand!

When a want to buy something like that, I look at the following links...

RN Fat Monster Power S exhaust
I use it on my FG MB pro with 26cc zenoah.
Many many torque,,,, more than a samba or jetpro.
I've changed my exhaust optical, with an aluminum silencer what I have made it myself.

I drive with a 16T on the intermediate shaft to the diff.

That is a awsome pipe, I tried for 3 months to get a simple reply back from the mfg. I did not hear anything back, I thought those pipes actually didn't exist, it looks good though.

Did you paint it black or did yours come that way? I thought they were all the natural finish.

Nice looking BUG.

I have this exhaust sprayed with Motip matte black lacquer (+600C)
These exhaust do not finish and are therefore difficult to keep clean.

RN tuning has a time no exhaust delivered, because they have a order for more than 1000 pieces to a shop somewhere in Europe.

These exhaust are made by 1 man, and are hand-made!
You can choose from 2 types.
The 1 has more top power but less torque.
The other has more torque and slightly less top power.

Fat Monster Power and Fat Monster Power S
These exhaust have been developed for sample models, characteristics of these exhaust are maximum power and torque in the extremely low and middle field and a great sound.
Designed for the Zenoah GD260RC.
Available for FG and Hörmann.

what is the clear tube with the y in it?
 
I cancelled my order for an RN Tuning pipe too since I was tired of waiting. I ordered it in January and in June I still haden`t go it. Disaster :(

When I emailed or phoned them they always said that the pipe will come in a few weeks. This happened THREE time during this period.

I went for the Samba instead and I don`t regret this choice one bit. Awesome pipe that gives your FG all the power you need.
 
Dude, after visiting myself over there, if thats what its like for you over here your incredible! I felt lost with the language barrier over there.:(
