Hey guys I'm going to buy a 1/5 scale pretty soon after I get back from vacation finally got approval from the old lady. Anyway what are your guys opinions on used hpi Bajas 5T on eBay? Are they worth it thanks.
 
I was thinking of buying a used 5t when I was deciding to get into 5th scale and was actually looking at one locally. Most of the advices I've read online though usually said to stay away from used.

The one that stuck on me was "you might end up buying someone else's headache"

Unless you trust the person... And since you're talking about eBay, you probably can't even see it in person..

Yeah I get what your saying it's like buying a used car you just don't know how they treated it I also have been looking into buying the King Motor T1000 30.5cc they have it at Heat Hobby. Or Mabey a Rovan but I really like the look of the T1000.
 
That is all relative to what you are going to do with the truck. Buying used can be a good way to get the quality if you are planning on upgrading anyway. If you have your own radio system to put in and are planning on getting an upgraded engine then used can be a great way to go. Either way I would guess that you would be spending some money to upgrade parts. You will just have to decide where the upgrades will go.
