Anyone else have pretty much no brakes on their vesla?
I have cleaned mine, roughed them up with sand paper, sprayed brake cleaner on them, and they still hardly stop the thing unless i set the servo end-point so fare back it flexes the chassis (which i don't want to do or it will burn out my servo) and even then it does not stop very well.

i was going to try to find some brake pad material that is used on nitro r/c's and JB weld it to the caliper to try and get some more bite.

anyone have this problem too?

I was unable to run mine but the Losi 5 rotors are the same size so when I do, I will likely upgrade the rotors and pads to RCR stuff.

Chassis flex can be fixed With aftermarket upgrades

In the meantime, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for others responses with actual run time and upgrades/fixes.

Have you adjusted the stop on the brake rod itself? Generally theirs a good bit of slack that can be taken out a good bit so the servo doesn't travel so far before engaging the brake
