I'm wondering about cooling though. It can't be any worse than having grass and leaves clogging up the flywheel and crankcase outerwears.

Finally got to putting that 990 carb on my MT today. It fired right up 5 pulls. I couldn't pass that ddm deal up. Now I have a spare 990 to rebuild and learn on.

Nice, glad you got yours going. I haven't installed mine yet I have been out of town with work for a while. I plan on putting it on this week. I have been starting my truck without the choke just to see how it does and it fires right up so I don't think I'll have an issue with the 990.

Awesome!! Do yourself a favor and get a Team Chase filter for your carb bubble. Small hole on engine side lets in dirt and damages the diaphragm. ddm has them.

No it is still in the package lol. I have been busy rebuilding a used dunerunner I picked up. I have a friend I used to work with real good with an airbrush. I asked him how much he said 80 bucks. I was like sold!!! So now to find time to drop it off

I know what you mean. I can rattle can but I can not airbrush at all. Tried that once didn't look to good lol
