Cool idea but as finicky as Lipos are with precautions during charging, I'm wondering if something like this is worth it. It just doesn't seem like a bunch of partial run re-charges are what your battery wants and it's not like we run hours on end w/o refueling.

It is kind of cool....but I was kind of thinking the same thing...i think the longest I've run any of 5th scales is a few hours at a time...batteries are still not near 6v low voltage..

Gasser helicopter guys usually use them. Especially if doing photography work or using them for scouting were they are flying for a long time. We have 5 servos running at once so it does pull power out of packs. This allows guys to run all day without charging.
