as you can see, i lost a few wheel screws... go figure. hpi wheels and hd bead locks... lol oh well... not bad considering all the debree on the beach... no breaks.. no failures... just some fun in the sand..
peace

Man id be pulling that thing down before it corrodes away,

Iv never understood why people take their baja to the beach, Sand dunes i can understand but not the beach running in salt water lol, ya just asking for trouble

i hear yah

to be honest ive been running it on the beach about 4-8 times a month for the last 6 months and only rusted one bearing... i grew up on the beach and believe me, i know what the salt air does to anything metal let alone what salt water does.. but ive been running my 1985 honda cr 250 on this beach since new; besides my other countless electric and nitro rc's ive had over the last 30 years. and to this date i have had no more problems then someone who doesn't run at the beach... i am anal... i am ocd... lol i am a preventive maintance whore... after every run my toys get washed off, blown down, greased up, and ArmorAll'd up.... i have not even a single rusted screw... its all about how you take care of something. granted, i am a 36yr father of 2 little ones.. (5yrs old and 2 yrs old) so i don't really go out much, and me tinkering on my baja and other toys keeps me in the house and away from all the bad i could be doing... (this is what i tell my wife all the time also... lol) so like i said. so far i only blew a bearing from rust. so that not so bad considering the beach is 40' from my front door. the gas i save not driving to different places and the time i save by not doing so surely makes up for the little extra maintance i have to do... without any problems over the last 30 years of doing so, i don't find anything wrong wit ripping it up at the beach... just stay out of the water... lol bottom line. this is another huge factor why i bought the rovan and not a $1000+ hpi... not cuttin on rovan. she has been my best rc to date.. even more then my beloved savage x... but i bought her to have fun... and by taking care of her, fun i do have... thank you for the responses also...

thats for sure..

Looks like ya had avgood time!

i do have to say i did. and i do... lol... the pictures were taking right after a north-eastern so there is alot of debree on the beach and RAIN PUDDLES.. so it was a lil hard to do some speed runs... but i had a blast though... thank you kfarron...
