I just use regular unleaded, 87-89 octane. You might get a minimal gain from higher octane, but a lower octane performs better in my lower compresion motors.

I use 110 octane race fuel my TT runs very well with it. It cost me $5.50 a gal not to bad a price.

Avgas is not much of a performance advantage but makes it start better and tune more cinsistantly.


It shines in the fact you can put your car in the trunk of your 1:1 car or in the house without the wife saying " get that stinking thing out of my house (or car). "
