What range of throttle the Low speed needle affects?

Is it just idle or up to 1/2 throttle like nitros?

So if the engine smokes a lot at 10-20% throttle thats probably a rich Low speed needle?
I swapped the carb anyways but I need to know

could be rich on low end mate, just adjust 1/16 of a turn on the nnedle at a time and see how ya go ,
if it starts to run like crap then richen it back up a tad ,

also the smoke, the oil yer using could play a factor, some oils smoke much more than others,
plus also could be your mix having an effect on smoke as well,
