I'm considering a new pipe, as my old V1 Dom is bent (though still works) and otherwise seems to be choking the engine at the top end. However, I'm a bit hesitant to go to a side pipe, given the amount of acrobatics i end up doing. Are any of the rears particularly well suited to the G20? I see Victory has a rear version of their Big Bore.

I know your looking for a rear pipe but the taylor rc pipe is amazing. Ive had nearly every pipe made in the last 12-15 years of doing this. Taylor one is my favorite

Honestly, I've more and more moved towards a side pipe being the only option that makes sense and definitely been considering the taylor/rcmax.

Hi All,

I've been looking into a side pipe also but in the event of a big accident is it possible to break the cylinder head bolts or worse ? It seems to be so much more vulnerable to damage but I like the power / look of a side pipe .... Also, I don't recall seeing many good preforming closely tucked in rear pipes .... Thanks

Alright I got the taylor pipe and it's awesome! Question, though...with it being metal, did you paint it? I was thinking of painting it with Cerakote which would have the bonus of keeping temps up in the pipe.

I painted all of my pipes with Cermaic Paint from a rattle can , they claim it is good for 2000f. Nest time I build a set of headers and send them out for coating I am going to pull one of two of them off and get them coated as well.

I tried the natural finish but always seem to get some rust spots in areas that were hard to keep oiled up. Last pipe I put on was rusted in the bag when I received it , blasted and painted that as well.
