Wheels (remove old chrome)

Hey guys, I have some TT wheel that the chrome is peeling off. I need some ideas on how to remove the old chrome and just go plain Jane.

Just turn them and the chrome will magically disappear.

And from other threads I've read you can dye the wheels after the chrome is removed.

I stripped the chrome off of my beadlock rings with some degreaser. Came off pretty easy. I used Purple Power.

Me either. I will try that. I want my MT beadlocks stripped. Half the chrome is gone anyway. The MT wheels are going back on after I get a new engine for her.

So I picked up the purple power it does work but its pretty slow, so I went back to Easy Off oven cleaner it works faster.

Worked pretty fast for me. My rings were pretty scuffed, though. So that probably helped a bit.
