When it snows, you gotta at least try it once, right?

Had a winter event in ENC, not something to brag about but it is not often we get any snow and when it does do so, it is gone the next day. Would have run yesterday but it was too damn cold. Decided to see how things were on Sunday afternoon. Most of the snow melted on the streets but not on the grass. Snow was easy to pack and had some time to melt or settle in before ripping up the yard. It was fun while it lasted, had to do the remote shut down since the snow packed in around the engine and carburetor, prevented the throttle from moving, got stuck at moderate RPM and could not stop the vehicle by other means.

Some hot water to remove the packed snow followed by spending time with the air compressor in the garage to remove the water. Next time I am at the hardware or automotive store I need to pick up some WD40 to displace water on steel parts. I did have the body on it when I was running the Barca. Since it is the only 4WD vehicle I own, decided just to use that one. Was tempted but did not bother to run my Bajas as they weigh a bit more by 10 lbs at least. The Bara did quite well through the snow, better than I thought it would. I used the street to fling off the snow build up in the wheels and then back into the thick of it. Sorry no video of this, just pictures of the tire art in the snow and washed off Barca.
