Where is all the play in the axles?

Anyone else had this problem? The amount of camber with the car off the ground vs on the ground is probably 3-5 degrees difference and its not in the upper arms because you can grab the wheel off the ground and tilt it back and forth and the upper arm and knuckle don't move. It has to be in either the bore for the bearings in the knuckle, cheap Redcat bearings, something else or a combination of problems.

With the wheels off, it doesn't seem that bad, but with the wheels you can really see exactly how much movement there is with the extra height of the wheels/tires.

BTW, this is a Chimera (actually started as a new XB rolling chassis from Ebay) with 4 tanks through it and Baja 5b fronts all around and street tires.

alot of the movement is bearing play , amplified by wheel dimensions. the stock will get sloppy <50 hours. expect it.

alloy carriers will help they are ok and have stock sized bearings, they will fade and have movement but considerable usable life remains despite the movement.

7075rc has great oversized bearing set up that is really solid and if you are looking for ultra hi mileage thats the ticket to ride
