Where is everybody, and what have you done to your cars lately?

Nice, I miss my monster trucks, gave them to my grandson, FG is in it's bag and in the closet, now working on a KM baja converting it to a class 1 buggy.

I'm from Western Pa, I haven't done anything but run my 1/5 scale lately. Fingers crossed haven't broke anything in awhile and no racing. I am excited to be ordering a Kraken Vekta, my DDM cart is loaded. I'm waiting to see if DDM is going to offer any additional discounts for the holiday, for the vehicle or all the accessories I'm ordering with it. I'll post pictures in the forum once I get it.

You can use coupon code: LSF and get 5% off your cart total.

Uhh... YEAH!!!

Man, really, what a bunch of mof**0s DDM are, I asked them about coupon codes, that I have been a faithful customer spending 200 here, 300 there, and never mentioned any discount. They said the price is the same for everybody, and no discounts whatsoever, F**uped on their part.

Well, back to the forum main subject, the X2 throttle servo saw better days, so ended buying new servo, not installed yet.
And the KM Baja carb and/or top end, one of the two, is giving me problems, the rest of the car is fine. I always thought was going to be the diffs, axles, I don't even run dog bone boots, never, and the poor thing has seen dirt, mud, pebbles, and still running. Both engines, the X2 and Baja are 30.5cc fuelies, and on the X2 been a heavier truck runs fine. The issues have flipped, on the X2 was diffs, and more blown diffs, everything else fine. On the Baja, everything fine, and now is the engine and/or carb. And of course the piece of crap steering servo, A2025, ended installing a X2 throttle servo, aluminum servo bracket and problem solved.

Both are on the bench, got the workout/gym rat bug, and taking a break from them. My MTB and road bike needed some tuning, a neighbor threw away a nice MTB and working on a project bike now. FYI, those 2X 8000 lumens cree bike lights are no joke, for $15.00 are worth the money.

Man sorry your cars are down, but that's a good idea to step back from them and do something else for awhile, gives you new perspective. When you come back to them, you will get it right.

I haven't ordered the car yet but did buy the motor , should be here sometime this week.
