So i ordered a Rampage MT a few days ago and have read that most people upgrade the pipe. So i figured i would get a different pipe for it so i can get the full potential of this engine. But i do not know which pipe to get. Ive heard DDM Dominator but i see a few different models. So if you guys could help me out to get the right pipe that will fit please let me know.

Toxic,

I purchased the JetPro side pipe for my XT. It fits nicely along the side just under the body (you don't have to cut your body to make it fit). Personally I think the JetPro pipe sounds much throatier than the Dominator and it definitly looks beefier. Dino at JetPro was great to work with and you get a lifetime warrenty with the pipe. You can't ask for better then that. If you are looking for increase your horse power the JetPro Pipe is the way to go.

thankyou very much. I will check that pipe out. I do like them being loud and throaty so that seems like a good pipe for me

I have the JetPro SidePipe Also. Dino was great and when you call JetPro Dino (the owner) will answer the phone. Made in America, All Hand Welded, and of Course what everybody Mentions is that Lifetime Warranty.

Ive just fitted a baja 5T high flow muffler and its really woken my engine up, looks just like stock muffler but alot bigger, i found it gives really good all round performance, sounds deeper, its cheaper and best off all you cant damage it!!! i was un-convinced at first, but a couple of the guys at the track fitted a large selection of exhaust's to a car, and the 5t high flow muffler proved the best all rounder(top and bottom), cheapest and best choice for bashing

These are the pics Dino sent me when I was inquiring about an XT pipe. I'll share with you what he told me to give you an idea what to expect if you do decide to go for a jetpro. though it's mounted to an XB Dino said it's the same fit he just didn't have a pic of XT with jetpro pipe available when he answered my email.

Here's Dino's email to me answering my questions:

ME: What is available for my Rampage XT and how much is it? My friend has a jetpro on his buggy. It looks awesome with chrome but it’s warping the plastic body. How can we fix this? I’ll wait for your reply then order one. Do you have it for side or rear mounting?

DINO: well he should trim the area next to the pipe , the pipe will cover where he trims it , and I have had very few complainants about that, I will be happy to send him some heat rap that he can glue on? here are the XT pipes side and rear , the side mount is a better pipe cuz I had more room for a bigger pipe ! the side mount should be far enough away from the body , I have sold many of those pipes and no one has said anything but i will be happy to throw in some heat rap for you if you like! **

ME: you said the side pipe is bigger than the rear pipe, is there an advantage? I’m also looking to upgrade later to an engine mod and replace it with a ported engine and keep the stock as a backup. Would I still be able to use the same pipe I’m going to purchase from you?

DINO:that pipe will take as much power as you push trough it and only get better! and yes it will the rear mount will show !they both make around the same power it is just personal preference!* Hope this helps in your decison on what pipe to install.

After some reading on here, I went with the JETPRO for my Rampage MT...

I think I am going to be 100% happy with it, I surely love the looks of it, Looks SICK!

:)

In my opinion the JETPRO is a great pipe, it woke my Rampage MT up like no other, my friends all drool at my truck now, the next mod is the 8,000 rpm clutch and spring... Then they'll really be drooling as I pass all of them 1/10th's with my 1/5th!

:D

i agree with all of u guys but since everything is harder for me to get i got the hpo baja ss pipe and i'll tell yea it works absolutely perfect no problems here it fits under the body just rase the body mounts a bit and your good to go, it sounds great and performeance is not bat at all! it realy wake up the rampage and the neighborhood as well this weekend i'll get a vid of one of my rampage's running everything stock except from the hi-tech 645mg throttle servo and the baja ss pipe!
