Are the aluminum hub carriers better than the plastic ? Big price difference . I mostly drive on grass and gravel . I have proline mx badlands tires and rims which are bigger than stock . They actually work and look great . Any feedback would be appreciated

Depends on what you are doing with the RC. Precision and strength (Aluminum) is good but so is the flex of Plastic. Losi arguably has the best plastic formula of any manufacture. If your not racing then IMO break a few plastic parts first before deciding to pony up the $$. In bashing like you are doing you need strength, flex and a sacrificial part.

The MX Badlands are heavier, wider and provide way more grip than the stock tires so your hub carries, knucks etc are already screaming for help in a suspension upgrade.

I wonder if delron would be a good choice as I have access to a mill and lathe not to mention a few Aerospace materials . Thanx again for your reply

Delrin is great stuff but it is hard. I would think that it might fall in between aluminum and stock plastic.

Let me ask you this , what about nylon ? I just came across some on eBay . They are the same price as plastic
