I went to check out my cvds today and they are all chewed up. Got maybe 1.5 gallons through Idk if that's normal. So question is it better to go with dogbones and axle or stick with cvds and would axle boots help.

The CVD is connected to the wheel axel. The dog bones are not. Here are some pics.

I like the dogbone idea. Any of you guys run axle boots and if so which ones

I still have the CVDs in the front and dog bones out back. The fact that their greased increases the life span of the cups and pins. I use wire on the boots to keep them in place.
