Who on here knows the main difference in choosing spur gear. For the Xmaxx, you can use 46, 50, or 54. My brain tells me that if you go from a 50 to a 46 it will have more torque with more speed, but they call the 46t spur the "speed" gear. Someone please help me wrap my head around this!!!

. They only recommend the 46 for speed runs because the smaller the spur (or bigger the pinion) it takes more for the motor to push it, this causes overheating.
