I had bought the xmaxx of of someone he said everything was recently bought he didn’t mess with it anymore since he wanted out of the hobby it’s been a month now it did once run but it has problems reading the controller so I can’t calibrate itHow long have you had this problem? When it happened to me it was because the ESC did read the receiver. I replaced my receiver. It worked as advertised.
A. Did you take a huge jump
B. Get super wet
C. How old is your servo? Back EMF can short your receiver from the servo
What esc would you recommend to match the motor of the hobby wingYeah man. Tell you what. Get yourself a new receiver. It will be the easiest thing to try. If that works. It either took a hard landing or you may need to upgrade the servo soon.
But less than 50$ you should be good. It’s what I had to do. Good luck!!
Ok so a 160amp spektrum esc would work?Kinda. You will want at least 160a minimum. If you are on a budget. Try Jenny’s RC. They sell new parts off of new cars. Look for the Kraton or Outcast EXB ESC. That V2 Spectrum is a sibling of the Max 6. At a great price.
No it’s dead I tested it several times already nothing I have bought a new receiver didn’t work changed out batteries to newer ones didn’t work I am having the problem he sent in the videoYour already owned HW Max5 is more than enough for your Xmaxx. Unless a cap blew or it was severely overheated without the over temp kicking in, i would guess there is nothing wrong with the HW Max5.
As suggested find a different receiver to test or buy a new one since Flysky RX's are super cheap. You can always use it down the road on another RC if that is not the issue. Fully charge your Flysky Radio to eliminate the TX. I've had RX's not bind because the radio was below 50% charge.
