xrc road car , any good??

was thinking of buying a cheap road car, been looking at xrc v2 anyone got 1 are they any good??

Only if you buy them used for cheap don't waste your $$ on new one. They can be ok but you got to upgrade to much stuff to save any $$

I currently own a XRC onroad car for about 3 months. My experience has been bitter sweet. I knew going in that it was not a top of the line quality built car, NOT EVEN CLOSE. I got mine used for less than $300 shipped. I have since put less than $200 into it. At a tad pit over 50mph I dare not wreck, cause it aint stayin together. But it is a cheap (real cheap) fun ride.

hey pablo why bother with the xrc's mate? just wait and look on ebay theres been some very cheep fg tourers on there over the past few months

We've been running them for 3 years and have a great time with them...Check out this Australian forum, do what they tell you and you will enjoy your XRC...

Monti, I took your advise and got the front disc brake kit from FGSupply. It didnt have cables so after seaching this forum I found out that going to a bicycle shop I could piece together the needed cables. Now with my Zen23 and brakes installed, I can both stop and go. Thanks for the help.

with all the effert i puting in to it i should have got a job and saved for a fg sport line
