im not sure if i,l keep these, way 2 heavy i,l post some picks later to show u how they are designed, one good thing about the weight is they should be stronger therefore last longer hopefully

yea i was going to get a robinson racing steel spur for my baja, the fella in the shop took it off the shelf and drop,d it nearly went thru the floor:clown::clown: but they look bullit proof.

rotating mass has different effects than dead weight (alloy arms over plastic)

while it can bring down the torque offered at the line, when moving it can increase torque (harder to get them going due to the added weight, but more weight once moving to give a bit more push thru the DriveTrain), it ll add a bit of torque say leaving a corner.

if your having issues with the stock plastic gears, maybe swap out the broken/issue gear with its steel counter part and run it. save the other steel gears only if you need them.
you may like the effect it offers.

kind of like the differance in a full weight flywheel and a lightened one.
