wow, theres a pretty decent differance in the transfer port areas. with the angles and size of the 270 ports, it should run a bit stronger, unless you have had some mod work done to the 270 topend.
 
both topends are bone stock my money is on the g270rc, there is alot more difrence in the crank cases also the g270rc has a wider smoother crank case with a larger opening, witch would improve flow and performance i would think
 
Ok basic differences from stock motors are G270 has more low and mid torque and the 2 bolt revs higher.

l race the FG 4wd mini class mini come with the g270rc l had a g230rc and got the head kit for the motor to make it a g260rc
l have test both motors in the mini and yes the g260rc more top end power ok
