Well after having a radio fail and a kill switch not doing what’s it’s supposed to do. initially at first glance it didn’t look so bad,
just an arm and front bulkhead, not the case though.

So chassis was toasted, even the engine plate bent. It’s hard to see in the pics but trust me it’s toaste.
So, in with the longer MCD chassis.

Drilled the Allen heads for the wire, I need to find better drill bits that last longer
even though they were cobalt steel bits they were only good for 2 holes before getting dull.

So, what happens when you get rained out? You wrench!
I had noticed some play in the bearing on the steering but was going to leave them in until after this
weekends race, but since I’m in the shop and it’s a washed out weekend I got back into the buggy.

I made a mod to the chassis to wrench faster, drilled out the existing holes to able to remove the bearing shafts and assembly faster,
less things to take apart.

now I can just loosen the top plate over the bearings/ loosen the other top plate by front bulkhead and get the lower chassis post screws out
from the bottom of the chassis, much faster process for the pits.DA990842-4A63-492B-AEFD-6DEB173567DA.jpeg
