More trouble with conversion

OK need a bit more help. Anyone that has used the Rovan conversion kit I hope you had better luck than me. Now I put the 750kvw motor in the car and went to plug the 3 wires from the motor to the ESC. The gold plugs that came on the end of the motor wires are way too small to fit in the ESC. Am I missing somthing here. Not sure why they don't fit. They just flop around in the hole on the ESC.

spread the male part with a flat screwdriver till it fits... if its to small for that change the plugs

It looks like the kit comes with some extension for the motor to the ESC. (middle of the picture)

There is 4mm bullets. 5mm bullets. 6mm bullets. Buy the ones you need and solder them on.
Some assembly required.
