Spektrum DX3 and Dynamite Kill Switch

Hey guys,
I just got a ProBoat Rockstar 48 and am trying to install a dynamite kill switch on it. I've got it all hooked up and it works to kill the engine if I press the 3rd Channel A/B button, but I can't get it to kill the engine with the loss of radio signal. I've tried binding the receiver with the kill switch off, but when it binds it turns the kill switch on. I can't figure out what I need to do to get it to kill with the loss of radio signal. Any advice?

DX3 transmitter
MR4000 Receiver

It's probably a normally on channel, you may have to get another receiver, I run sr515 receivers in both my land and sea rigs with no issues.
