seen as the chassis is gettin an overhaul i thought i might as well redo the sell to. some of you that know the car, know that the windows were cut out which made the shell a tad weak and the rear was cut to make room for the fg tuned pipe so i thought id fill these in and re paint ;)

quite happy the way it's turned out but the maskin tape was shite that i used so i've had a bit of paint bleed under the tape :( but as i aint gental with this car a bit of paint bleed is the least of its worries :lol:

Good effort mate :cool2: You will probably have finished yours by the time I get my bug sorted - not had time with holidays & working away for the last 7 weeks. Hopefully this week will be my last week away tho so will get my arse into gear & get it done. Give me a shout when you back up & running & we will go for a 'gentle' bash somewhere :lol:

looks good!! you got a link to that paint you used for the motor?
and btw your going all black like im going to do with my build too :D

but might just stick with white wheels instead of green only because
of the stupid rit dye colours

anyways it looks great! and cant wait to see the rest!!

Looks good Ben,you know you have a CY clutch holder there.
J

cheers james :w00t: it was the housin mate it didn't have the cut out in it, i've checked with rossmod and hobbythek and the both said i had the wrong housin so instead of payin £25 for the right part i thought id mod it myself ;)

If it doesn't work out I have a Zen you can have.
I meant the clutch holder(the thing that the clutch sits on) I have one of them too!
J

gotcha

cheers mate will let you know how i get on tomora mate as the steel location plates should be here so i can fit the large mount :w00t:

Looking good...always worth doing a full rebuild every now and then...

seeing as you have had if for so long at least you wont have any major shocks..i.e no woodscrews holding it together...lol

You can never have too much tinkering with these things, mine gets a bloody good looking at during and after every meeting and a full strip down, clean and inspect every 2 meetings ish.
For the little time it takes to pull them apart, check them over and put them back together, it's well worth it.
