Been soo busy this poor guy got left to collect dust... for several years now! I decided to pull it out from under the pile and oh boy, it's time. Got used hard and put away wet last time out, so I think it's going to need to be rubbed down to bring it back to it's former glory. Started with a rag and wd40 but quickly got out a spray pump with dish soap and water, th broom, and air compressor with blow tip. Group shot of the track opening... back in spring 2020!

Should gave got battery out first, clean after, wanted to be with the battery for charging but it's still under investigation, ended up doing other stuff and didn't see how many milli amps went in, once at .5 Amps till time limit, once at 1 amp till time limit, then once more at 1 amp and it showed 1800 milli amps for that charge, not just time limit reached, now after leaving it cool it's been on 1 amp discharge for over an hour but 1100 milli amps came out soo far, still going, got it set for 6 volts cut off, so hopefully it wakes up a bit, depending on what comes out I'll recharge it at 1c of that to see if it can take a good filling, it's a venom power 5000 from 2020 but has been sitting unused since, lucky it wasn't completely dead so if I can get 2000-2500 I'll use it, but not more than 1 tank on a charge, to be safe, back in the use alot days it would take 200-300 after a week end of use and a week of sitting after. No worries!

Battery good enough for me, after the cut off was reached last night I fell in my bed already asleep, charged this morning and was happy. After that I did all kinds of maintenance and ajustements to servo saver and centered the steering trims then adjusted the tie rods to be straight instead if using the trim( turned more one side than the other and finally I fixed that) did pull start remove and blew out the fan and recoil of the pullstart( glad I was outside!) Then I attacked the air filter, had to use gas to clean it and the goop that was oozing out was even hard to wash off my hands, let dry but when I oiled it in the bag it would not come back to shape, oh well, need a new one. Then wanted to see the diaphragm of the carb and sure enough it was stiff and wavy when moved so I put in a new one I had ... from putting a spiral in my 34, but I didn't have another for now. I did so much cleaning on the body panels I started rubbing off the paint, but back together it still looks cool just standing still. Was going to try and fire it up but the air filter bothers me and much cheaper than a upper cylinder and piston, so I have to wait again to let myself use it!!!

Ya, found them on ddm, they're pretty good alright, that's the original from 08. Had all the outerwares covers at one point, still do I guess but they would block up with grass so I started running only on a dirt track, but now I have moved and still have the task of making one again. If only I could clone myself to get more done! Lol
