They are more(IMO)sloppy than the buggy but take some stick. The buggy is more precise.
Havn't got my oil yet mate,as soon as I do I'll be mounting them.

Have you had yours out yet?

The lads on BFUK are using 10-20WT motorbike fork oil as it doesn't froth or loose its viscosity.

Cheers Pete,I had a blast with it.When the Rezzies go on it'll be launched at full tilt!:w00t:

Rezzie build

Just thought I'd do a Rezzie build thread for anyone who was thinking of getting a set.

First picture is of the components I am using.

Full set of Threshold Rezzies
Set of 20% stiffer DDM springs
Dark soul shaft seals(O'rings)
Theshold crowns
And of course the shocks.
Picture595.webp

I started by dis-assembling the shocks to re-seal and clean them.
Picture597.webp
Picture599.webp
You can see the oil that came out! All down to worn seals.
Picture598.webp
I then got a small screwdriver and removed the circlip that holds the brass washer on.
Picture600.webp
With the washer and clip off the the O'rings are exposed.
Picture601.webp
Picture602.webp
I changes these with some Dark Soul rings as they are made a little tighter than stock giving a better seal.
Picture603.webp
Picture604.webp
Be careful when putting the circlip back in as they tend to spring out and go to the land of the lost!
I cleaned the shafts up and here it is assembled.

More to come.

I then oiled the top of the shock body so when it screws into the Rezzie cap the oil will help seal and not distort the O'ring inside the cap.
Picture609.webp
I screwed the cap on and checked the ring through the bottom of the shock body.
Picture610.webp
Picture608.webp
All nice and snug I then put the shock ball in.This is done with the tool provided. You will need a vice or press or pliers. I used my vice and it went in easily.
Picture607.webp
Next was the bleeding stage. There is a bleed station you can buy but I didnt have one so I used a couple of zip ties and an electrical hands free vice.
Picture611.webp
Next I used a syringe filled with 15WT motorbike fork oil(non frothing) and filled the shock up.The oil in the shock will travel through the Rezzie tube and flow into the Rezzie chamber.Be sure to have the Rezzie chamber about half an inch below the shock body.
Picture612.webp
Picture613.webp
Once the shock body is filled to the top and the Rezzie chamber is too, leave it for half an hour for the bubbles to surface.
Picture614.webp
Next assemble the spring and the two pistons(chamfered edge facing out on both)
Picture617.webp
Next insert the two pistons and spring into the Rezzie chamber as in the picture SLOWLY!
Picture618.webp
Then build the Rezzie cap, screw the lock-nut onto the bolt and the bolt into the cap but only as far as the end of the threads like as in picture.
Picture615.webp
Picture616.webp
More to come.
