Here is todays turn out @ Deeside.

Lots of down time all round, but thats part of it.
As you can see it was a nice gathering.

Not sure mate but there was some more "baja humping" going on out in the field !!!

Brilliant day. Brilliant weather... and as usual for Deeside, a whole host of failures / damage / injuries !!!!!!

Looks like new Pipe time for me !!!:rolleyes:

Hope Jasethelast got home ok. The Land Rover didnt want to start ! (No matter how hard we tugged the Pull start !;))

It wasnt lookin good. I think the battery had gone flat after he charged his RX batt from it, but even with a jump it wouldnt fire. But they got Philskai on the phone (Landy expert) and were tinkering as I left.
He may well still be there, asleep in the Landy !!:(
 
Looks like it was a great showing.
Wife was on withdrawal symptoms - I was spending too much time in the 'man cave' and avoiding family things, so I ended up spending the afternoon at a local park - field alongside looked populated only by a few dogs so was sorely tempted to get the MT !! :D:D
Should have taken the E-Maxx anyway.

Hope you all had a great afternoon - any more container jumping?

it was a great day,as you say plenty of downtime me included, bloody clutch has welded itself in the bell. How the f does that happen?

Jas was really struggling with the landi, me and mart stayed behind for a while, Philskai was on the phone for quite a bit but we left say 17:20 they had no luck with it. I offered to take all the kids back but he eventually managed to get his farther in law to come out and either tow him or put it on the back of a trailer. feel sorry for Jas, batteries seem to be the bain of his life.

why was there a lot of contact out on the feild, give us a run down on who hit who, breakdowns etc,,

I had a couple of run ins with most people. Me and Ian (mcd v4 owner) had a coming together that was caught on camera, I also had several rolls especially racing which i also think was caught on camera. Ian and PaulB had a coming together that threatened them going back to anglesey in the same car :lol: but when all said and done it was only an 'E' clip that popped off Pauls car.

Martin (iron monkey) as usual spent more time at the side fixing his car and taking the piss out of others.:lol:

It started with me bragging that my Spur gear was still the original , over a year old, and going strong...... until 3 minutes later when ............. guess what ?!!!!!!!! Yep , stripped spur !!

So with that fixed and some heavy jumping going on, I landed nearly vertical on the back end and it stalled and wouldnt start ! UH ?
Scratched my head for a while, til Ian pointed out I had a nice plug of dirt jammed in the end of my pipe !!

So.....with that fixed..... and some more heavy jumping going on, and another heavy awkward landing, my rear right wheel ended up jammed at the top of its travel and pointing a very odd way !!!
Turned out I had snapped half a pin off one of my drive shafts and got it jammed tight in the cup ! HOME TIME !!

Have just noticed too that the heavy rear landings have bent and dented my SS pipe. SO............... its Uber RC Predator Pipe time ! MMMMMMMM!:D

So Im gonna be a busy boy fixing stuff for a bit !!

Thats my story for the day ............ Plenty of others to come !!

And there was me saying" never had a problem with a KM".....2 mins later....spur blown! Brought it in and went about setting my Rezzies up,thought...I'll jump the ditch,landed on the back wheel which blew OUTWARDS!!:w00t:,lost a few beadlock screws,bust a shock shaft and cracked me shell:(
Put a new spur on my KM ,took it out and disintegrated the brakes! Swapped the two rear KM shocks onto my 5T and took that out again......2 mins later,blew a diff outdrive.......................RETIRED!:lol::lol:
