Hi can someone please help me i have a Zenaoh R260RC1 engine but it needs a new head. So i'm looking at getting a 30.5 or 27.2 with a 2mm longer stroker i'm after more power and more top end. That one would you guys go for ? As i have heard that the 30.5 dose not rev has high not sure if that is ture tho.

me personally i would just be putting a new zenoah head on it as i have had the 2 you mentioned and both have been unreliable my choice would be a new zenoah head

You could try pitstop shop rc and buy one of their Falcon heads they have been ported so although you son't get as many revs with the bigger engine the porting allows it to breath a little better releasing a few extra revs.

Here's the link, have a good look round most of it is in two languages, you should find one you can understand LOL.

How did you find the two head units and in what way was they unreliable ? What zenoah head would you go for ?

Hi Rutland, I have not tried their products but from what I read they are well tested and they seem to take precautions like relieving the piston OD to prevent premature seizure etc. I am buying the ignition kit they do and having it fitted to a race ported 29.4 currently being built for me. Strikes me that they produce some good quality parts.

Rutland, Your best bet is to find a engine tuner, i suggest ian oddie who can do many things to an engine, I have sent him a 2 bolt bottom end with a plus 2 stroke crank not stuffed and he wanted me to get a red 26 helli head, he converted the bottom end from 2 bolts to 4 bolts kicking 6.2BHP, at the end you will get a dyno sheet, Here is his website http://www.oddified.com/services.php , He will also jet the carb to match the engine meaning more fuel. Ted.

Got mine done by scotty at MMR, dyno'd at 7hp with printout. this engine is a 29.4 matched head and block running a 990 carb, 1mm stuffed/stroked crank, race ported with red race ignition.

This set up even without the ignition system produces more power than there own 30.5 Pro MMX engine.

BiggaJ, i deal with MMR alot and i know all of the guys there, yes scottys engines are good too a point but not that good, until you use another builder to build another engine then you will se what i mean. This year me and my son have been to MMRs endurance race but we did not go to race we went to test new parts for my baja, Yes look again we went to test new parts, my son is a sponserd driver for innovative-RC and we have things on our baja and FG's that no one else can ever dream of having until we are satisfied to put it out to the public so no dissrespect to your engine and to scotty but the pics your about to see is my baja running on MMR's track, The only other engine builder i like is mr trevor simpson and mr yamadude as he has taken a 30.5cc to a different level and i mean different level.Ted.:D:D

Hi i heard that the 27.2cc can rev high, but i think i'm going to go for the 30.5cc and see how that go's.
has anyone else got a 30.5cc and if so what do you think of it ?

Has anyone heard of a mf-RaceLine G260CS engine from rc-car-online.de. if so is it and good/better then a 30.5cc or 27.2cc ?

I agree yamadude has taken things to another level mate. I have seen some of his engines running but onlyinvids and they seem to be pretty quick.
