how to set diff to gear wheel

have just replaiced my gear wheel what is the best way to aline it back up to diff and how tight should it be

jay, what vehicle do you run?

jenerally they say use a small business card, push it up tight against in the mesh and pull the card out.

I usually use a piece of paper, found that a card is a little think but the theory is the same.

have just got it put back together lastnight will be taking it out for my first bash today hope i don't break it......lol

had a great day out yesterday only thing that went wrong was the rear upright cracked so got to fix that ready for the next bash.don't think il be going back to nitro.......lol
