im just waiting for it charge again takes about 10 to 15 mins, ive run 3 battery packs through it, its getting faster and the rear rubber is well worn ive been running it im my shed alot of wide opean throttle im getting aprox 4 to 5 mins out of it, i still have not installed the bearings in the hubs and wheels i think that would give me better run times but each time i run it, its improving, i should let the battery cool down befor charging but hey ill try and run as many packs as i can run through it, its pritty tuff i crashed it loads my daughter has jumped on it and ive been cutting up loads and its still going, every now and then it stops for a few seconds, not sure if it has a thermal cut off or its a radio problem, ill try new batteries in the radio and ditch the losi ones it came supplied with, one winge i have the rear end is very soft it almost draging its but on the ground, im sure my upgrade alloy shocks will fix it. in another battery pack or so ill install the bearings and try out the lipo

i did the bearing mod and added the threaded axel,s i also tryed the lipo battery on the stock set up, theres a bit of improvment in it, its a bit nuts on the smooth shed floor, the motor gets dam hot with the lipo not sure how long it would last running at those temps after 5 battery packs the stock tyres are about 95% worn and the onroad rubber is about 10% worn already lucky they are like 6 bucks a set ive ran 5 battery packs through it and its still going strong.

its of its tit,s in stock form, its s skid machine when you can get traction its wheelies with the stock 4.8v 150mah battery and more so with the lipo. its constantly spinning the rears loads of fun, sofar ive run 7 battery packs through it and got 2 more charging, its been steped on jumped from a 5 foot drop and crashed full noise many atime, still have not had to make any ajustments to the slipper clutch or the radio settings it was right to go from the box a true ready to even came with batteries for the radio and the quick charger.

a quick vid of it running the losi 7.4v 108mah 2s lipo

you can see where ive been

Out of the box, they're great fun !!
I've spent perhaps 5x its original purchase price on hopups, it looks shinier, but it's probably too fast now - can nearly keep up with my BL 1/10 HPI rally car !!

so far ive been a bit silly and spent $760 + aud/usd on it but im waiting for a couple more part orders to be delivered, but out of the box its joy, i think brushless they might be a bit much.

well i put 10 battery backs thru it today (7 x stock 4.8v nimh 150 mah 3 x 7.4v 2s 180mah) i might do one or two more befor bed

run times with stock electrics

stock battery 8 mins run time around 15 to 20 mins to charge it with the losi quick charger

lipo battery 6 mins run time around 45 mins to charge it with the imax b6-ac

over all very happy with it

while sitting in the longe room with april my wife watch t.v, i ran a couple of packs through the little truck one lipo and one nimh i was surprised how much more grip the car had on the tiles compared to the shed floor it was popping wheelies, so i thought ill install the hr wheelie bar and front bumper they look pritty cool i think, tomorow ill sort out the rear end sag with some spaces like sonic sugested.

any way heres a couple of pic,s

this morning me and my daughter ran a couple more battery packs down in the shed, it got way to hot to run any more battery packs so i started to pull it apart and see what 15 battery packs through the diff and trans looked like.

to my suprise every thing looked ok the diff was a little looser then when i first got it so i shimmed it up so now its pritty tight i read about this on a usa micro forum here

http://www.microtforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11757

i only usded a 0.1mm shim, and i thought while i was at it i might try the losi brushless motor and esc ive got, it was all realy simple to install but there is no way in hell im going to be able to get the body back on just yet lols, ill wait untill my spektrum sr3500 rx is here then ill clean up the wiring and make it all fit under the hood.

i used the largest pinion that came with the micro - t i think its a 11 tooth i didnt even count it, but at 1/4 throttle the car is now as fast as it was stock with full throttle you need very good and light throttle control or its spin,s across the shed floor any time its got traction it will jsut black flips.

its way over powered and way to fast for what it is, i thought ill never say that with rc, but it is, still great fun and fast if you use no more then about 3mm throttle any more is just a blur spinning across the shed floor, i have not tryed it inside the house yet, theres way more traction, but in stock form last night it was a bit quick in the house if you gunned it and with the lipo in stock form it was just nuts popping wheelies all the time, so now it will just be silly lols.

any way im goign to charge it up again and play with some pinions and im hopping with the spektrum dx3e and the sr3500 rx i will have a bit more control radio wise and if the alloy parts take some slop out of the front end it should be a tad more user friendly.

today since ive installed the the brushless system ive run about 6 lipo battery pacls through it and ive stoped using the nimh battery so i don't have to reprogram the esc each battery swap, one cool thing about the stock set up is you can run both nimh & lipo batteries, my run times are now around 9 mins..

the car is hard to control but fun under 1/4 throttle you can drive it any more its just donut city unless you go in reverse, i got a bit carried away inside the house and manged it snap the hr bumber and bent the crap out of the wheelie bar but had loads of fun and my daughter laughed loads.

i was hoping the big alloy part order from toyz turned up today as im keen the try the shocks out not looking forward to a full days work trying the run threads in all the alloy parts.

hopping next week the spektrum radio gear will be here will the big order form the toys as im keen to be able to bling it up and run with the body back on, but since ive run around 20 battery packs through it now i now know these don't reay need any upgrading out of the box and they are loads of fun and i recomend them.

i also did some reading on why my micro t with the stock electrics shut down every now and then for a few secons, it still had steering but no forward or reverse action, reading the forums they mention thermal shut down, i was driving it with a lot of full throttle and not letting it cool down between batery packs and running the lipo also.

my wife was fair bussy today so only got one quick video indoors nothing special pritty stupid real, but it shows they are pritty tuff for what they are

here is a better video of the brushless conversion all driving in this video was under 1/4 throttle, only full throttle action was when it spins out and keeps spinning

well it seams around 20 battery packs is about the life of the brass bushes in the gear box, the last few times i used it yeaterday it was making a gear noise like the mesh was to loose or to tight.

today i pulled the gear box apart and the 3 brass bushes where worn right out, brass fillings in the trany and a big wobby in the spur gear, so much the spur gear at times would not even touch the pinion gear.

i shimmed the spur gear and shaft as much as i could and installed a slightly larger pinion and installed the alloy gear box, now with the most amount of flex the spur still touches the pinion gear, this is not a fix but it will let me keep running the little car untill it total flogs out and strips the pinion and spur gear completly.

i have 2 gear boxs 1 spur gear set comming should be here near mid next week and i have spare pinions here so ill just keep driving it untill it strips.

i will order a ball bearing gear box next week so i should get alot longer running time out of the gear box but ill have to order that from the usa so with shipping times i will not have it here for mabe 3 weeks, but the two stock gear box, set,s ive orded should give me a fair few battery packs while waiting for the ball bearing gear box to get here.

while i was playign with the gear box i redid the electric,s so i fit the body on the car as it looks way better, but its a very tight fit i can only just and i mean just fit the body on, when my spektrum sr3500 micro rx is here ill get stuck into the wiring and neaten it up to make it fit as nice as i can, any way here is a quick pic of the redone electrics
