What would you say the minimum outside temperature to run the gas motors at?

I've ran nitro in the snow through the snow no problems till once the airfilter gets soak and wet or the electronics. Your biggest problem to worry about is the plastics. Once the plastic freezes,it gets brittle and will break upon impact.Or the spur gear becomes brittle and breaks. For the sake of the plastics i wouldn't go under 40 and that's pushing it.Ok, just wondering if the were like nitro. My S-maxx says not to run it in less than 35-40 degrees
How hard are these to tune in 10-15 degree weather? Or do you even have to tune them?
I'm having to wait till Christmas to run it.
