iam thinking of buying either one of these,which one do you think it should be ???? .............phil
 
As most of my posts are from a racing point what I'm going to say may or may not be of any relevance BUT the FTX punisher is growing very quickly in popularity over the MCD because A, cost about half the price of an MCD, B, out of the box they go very well, C, with a few inexpensive mods like the wider arms off the monster truck you can widen the "foot print" making the car even more stable and then you can use the new GRP wheels/tyres that work very well.

Most important of all is you get excelent service from Nige at Freeprawn racing, on the net, over the phone and trackside.

thanks mike , I've never had a 4x4 and liked the look of both of them, i didn't want to spend a fortune as i don't know what i would think of them , but i wanted something i could just use and didn't need to upgrade very much as sometimes upgrading can get in the way of enjoying them...........phil
 
i sold my mcd race runner to buy a ftx i was so peed off at the mcd price for spares and upgrades. im not disapointed the handling is like that of a 1/8 scale, buy the destroyer though it has alot of upgrades you may want to add later if you bought a punisher. nigel can do you a good deal and make the car to your spec ie body shell engine pipe wheels ect.
