I heard same parts, different assembly line. Who knows for sure? Perhaps they are all coming from the same china man in his basement? And he makes other brands to give himself competition? hah. They are all about the same man, sometimes they are a hit and miss, If I was in a choosing position I would go KM simply because so many more people seem to have them.

Go to Rovan RC ebay, One of the best clones on the market. White Nylon parts thicker than HPI they got parts for it at TEAM BLUE STAR (LA,CALIFORNIA made in the USA parts. I got mine and the guys I race against all drive HPI and they are amazed at the parts and the way it drives right out of box. But remember you still have a clone at the end and you cannot race at some sponsered events, but I would go with the new setup thru Rovan if you go clone.:cup-1:

Hey guy let me tell you about rovan I have had mine for a month ran it about 5 times and have had nothing but problems with mine. The engine sucks it has no bottom end I cant even get the wheels to spin in the dirt. The rear a-arm stabilizer keeps popping off the shocks are horrible the chrome finish is wearing off the shafts they leak like crazy. cheap plastic the fly wheel keeps comming loose i'm on my second one and that one is loosing cooling fins on why I don't know it just keeps breaking the body

you just got a lemon dude is all, i have a km t1000 and it hasnt broken yet, i upgraded stuff , but no parts upgraded were broken. stuff like this happens, every single brand will have its lemons, heck my friends got a hpibrand and he cant even run a 1/4 of a tank out before something breaks and he is just driving it easy, no jumps. and my KM has been a champ, tho they say its crap, so my point is, each brand has greats, and lemons too.
