i'm on the hunt for a new exhaust. Currently using a DDM dominator torque pipe which has seen better days (flange is warped and i have to stack gaskets to stop leaks and i've had to re-weld mounting bracket as it has split and started blowing) It performs really well (still) but fancy something different. is there anything else that will give the same kind of performance?

I've just put an FG tuned pipe on my MT.
Much more compact than the outgoing high end Dom, plus HALF the volume, and appears to be just as fast, or nearly.
There are plenty of choices. Mielke always do a decent pipe, before going to the Samba, etc., which I've READ have occasionally split - possibly this is because of an accident, but similarly, it may be that the pipe is more exposed.

Sounds like you bash hard? If so you may skip on the pipes that expose themselves out the rear. The marder is a tough one to keep protected since there really is not much of a body to cover it up. You may want to just keep welding. The thick DDM steel pipe is taking the beating way better then the thinner steel Samba and Aluminum FG's would. IMO.;)
WHat type of driving are you doing. You may want to try the X-can. Not the best but its hidden very well.

the driving is fine, its the high speed rolls that do it...lol
pipe is about 18 months old now and i must admit it is easy to re-weld 'cos of the thickness. I like the samba but not the smooth power delivery, i like the way the power kicks in at about 3/4 throttle on the dominator and my marder sits up in a controllable power wheely. Fancied something in a raw metal finish 'cos i'm not a lover of chrome

im not a lover of shiney chrome:p as it seems to cheapen the part:D

but i don't like the :gun_bandana:rusty raw look so i go for nickle plating

hi mate, consider the jetpro,if you like the dom you will like this, i have one on the marder. They sound pretty good too!I bet you have enough low, mid power(i get so much wheelspin) so with a high end pipe you get the power at medium to top end.I personally don't need any pipe that give me any peak power at the bottom of the rev range as my engine gives me that, for what i need.
