I just picked up a brand new HARM 2002 I believe its the street competition with carbon fiber chasis, has the solo motor. It was just missing one of the body mounts that are on the chassis its a support as well. I actually would like any parts I can get a hold of. It has a Mercedes body but the rear mounts look like they were for the short chassis Porsche. I have enclosed some pictures of the car. Any parts or help to identify would be great. One of the pictures shoes the chassis support/body mount piece I am missing. Any help please!!!

HARM Racing car value?

Thanks OUTTALUCK for the response, I have already contacted HARM Racing since they are the manufacturer and they asked for some pictures. Looks like they will send me a parts diagram or list once they figure out my model. I'm also hoping to get a value on this car, I paid $500 for the car at my favorite RC shop in our state. The owner was going to be a distributer years back but theres more sales in off road 1/5 scale than road cars herer in the states. I'm confident its worth what I paid or much more being carbon fiber chasis and the fact it is brand new. Only thing missing is radio which i already have a spektrum which I use for my HPI 5t and a knock off hybrid of a HPI Baja.

What do you guys think this car is worth?????

ran the HARM

Got the HARM ready to go and took to an ashphalt lot, wow this car moves. I didn't have anywhere near enough space to open it up to full throttle. One issue I need help with was i set the suspension up to its highest setting, so the car road higher off the ground. I had a lot of bouncing especially around corners. Did i set it too high, or were the shocks set too tight? The result was the screw that connects the lower arm to the hub came loose and spun around inside the rim, scraping it up and when it shot out it took a small piece out of the lower arm. Also the gears have no cover over them and some small rocks got into them and chipped some of the teeth on the gears.
Do most cars have covers over the gears?

So now I'm looking for lower arm, gears, hub....

Harm sx-3

Hi Jimmy, I think I may have the same style Harm SX-3. I don't know the year of mine but, it's older than any of the ones I've seen online. The most distinctive feature on mine is the rear brake rotors are mounted inboard next to the differential as opposed to being on the wheel axle square. Anyway, the spur gear from my FG onroad fits my HARM. The pinion gear may fit too, but I would have to try it to be sure. The gears are kind of generic that way. xlx

Jimmy if your gunna run on tarmac you should keep the hight low and stiffen the suspension and invest in a swaybar kit for better handling will also give you less body roll...
You should also purchase a gear cover to keep any rocks n debris out and use a dry lube (graphite powder) will make your gears silky smooth with less wear and tear

Gear Cover

Thanks for all the help guys, I was able to find some FG parts that seem to work including the plastic gears, I sure could use a gear cover. If anyone has any ideas on a gear cover I could get please let me know, I have yet to see one small enough to fit.

Gear covers are the biggest waste of time in RC cars (other than hop ups you don't need - but don't get me going on that lol) they just keep the stones in.

For HARM parts email Adam or Jim at www.rapid-racing.co.uk with detailed photos of your car and I'm sure they'll be able to sort you out.
