cant seem to get a straight answer anywhere....are the jet pro side mount and ddm dominator side mount the same pipe for the MT? which one puts out the most power? i need to know asap cuz i'm about to pull the trigger on one of these pipes....anyone owned both and what are your thoughts? thanks:cup-1: by the way this is going on a new MT with the 30cc motor...

I can't speak for the DOM but i've used a Jetpro side mount pipe on a redcat mt with a 30.5cc. Only issue I had is the pipe sits very close to the body and I ended up having to wrap it to keep from melting the body. It made great power.
I would think both pipes are simmilar in performance.
 
From what i understand the ddm dominator is a chinese copy of the jet pro but it seems to make some awesome power so it up to what you preferbut i know the jetpro come with a great warranty

I just recently put the JetPro Side Pipe on my XT. I've read somewhere that it triples the HP. Plus JetPro has a lifetime warrenty on it. You just can't beat that! I do not believe the DDM pipe and the JetPro are the same. Just by the visual appearance the Dominator pipe sits higher and you will have to cut the body to make it fit. The JetPro pipe sits nicely along the side without any interferrance with the body. JetPro is made really well and Dino (the owner) was really great to work with. I personally think the JetPro Pipe sounds more throatier then the Dominator. Overall the JetPro will look mean on your MT. I highly recommend it!

I Agree completely. I also have a JetPro Side pipe on my XB and it made huge difference in performance. One they are Made in America, Two they are welded by hand not machines and three the lifetime warranty. Call JetPro and speak with the owner on the phone. Great customer service and always satisfied! I don't no were you heard it triples the horsepower but thats not true it maybe will give you a horse or horse in half but thats about it,and i have a dom and a jetpro sidemount and would take the dom over it any day.
 
Triple the power wow think i might throw my Dom in the bin Lol. Seriously the jetpro make good power so do the Dom i simply Prefer the look of the Dom over the jetpro regardless of power output, go for which ever you like they are both great pipes and Cpi also have pipes that make awesome power too.IMG_0585.webp
 
ok so i went with the dom cuz i like the looks better an from what i gather they put out about the same horse power... i also put the 8000 rpm clutch spring on an with the two combined all i can say is HOLY COW...this isnt even the same truck i bought..lol.. this truck freakin rips ass now...night an day difference... i would have to say i like it better now than my 5sc...an its just about as fast!!! i would tell anyone to buy this combo it REALLY wakes up the beast....
 
We always recommend a new tuned pipe when someone asks about getting a new motor to get more out of their model.
Until someone does what you have just done you cannot explain the difference between a stock exhaust and a good tuned pipe. Its night and day.
Good thing is now when you want more grunt you just buy a head kit, reuse your pipe, and the fun starts all over.
