yep plenty of other large scale rc's out there that are much better in the air that the 5b's but they do take a fair bit of punishment, once fully upgraded

Well, I wouldn't give that the reputation as a great jumper! At least not good at landing ;)

Well if look closely you would of noticed he was landing on a incline which puts alot more strain on the vehicle and when ever they land on all fours thats a good jump in my books LOL

That vid was of a stock hpi 5b with no upgrades !!

i never said they couldnt jump, i said they couldnt even make it through a half a tank of fuel without a stock hpi part breaking due to inferior quality :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

and the first jump in the vid the wheel popped off

i know in stock form they are held in by a clip and are designed that way as a weak point but everyone upgrades to the bolt as its a PITA to get that back on.

Yes thats so true but i think id rather replace the e clip then a busted wheel or what ever else brakes LOL

we all know those wheels pop off a little too easy in stock form. hence why most people do the bolt mod. but yeah they are a good bit of kit and people bash hard with them. i just think there are allot of better options out there, just my personal opinion.

my wheels never popped off with the c-clip (which is the only thing i haven't had major issues with), when installing the ds axle extenders i went with th ec-clip eliminator mod and low and behold a wheel fell off (bolt pulled right through the washer so i went to a differnt washer although i have YET to try it out because i am still correcting issues throughout my baja.

personally i don't feel comfortable running mine anymore let alone trying to jump it off of a 2" tall bump :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

take a good look bud, that baja has aftermarket parts on it and is NOT box stock. a box stock baja would fail off of a jump 1/4 that tall (at least mine did till i shelled out over 2k in aftermarket parts) ;)

take a closer look mate all the mods on that are proline undertray & widnow tints & remote killswitch completely stock apart from that & 2weeks old from kit form BOGUTH BNIB & do you know how i know??

because thats me jumping my HPI Baja SS :cup-1:
