Hi
I was wondering what you fellas think, I have just swapped my hpi baja 2.0 for an mcd rr b4 competition pro buggy.
My baja was 2 wks old and the mcd was 6months old.
I no very little about the mcd but really liked my baja, I was advised to do the swap and told I was getting the better deal.
The mcd has an alro tuned 29 cc motor with polished something or other. So what do ya think.

Get some pictures up.

If it's in good order you have the far better deal. You will have the latest version 2 of the V4 like me and with that engine in it will fly way better than the Baja and handles real well in comparison. You are only in Liverpool so get yourself over to our club, got a few V4's running plus other stuff. Get about 10 to 15 cars down each Sunday and we are organising races so if you have not already signed up to our forum (link below) then do so and come and meet the boys, all good guys and plenty of advice.

As long as the RR has not been beaten, you got the better end of the deal. I have both HPI Bajas and the MCD RRv4 and the RR is easier to work on and handles different and IMO better. I do enjoy running all of my large scales, as each is good in different situations.

The lads at the track where fantastic and explained everything to me about the car and its history, so would just like to say thanks to northwest rc off road.

Simon you have a very good car as Barry does look after his cars and it also has a few upgrades not that the V4 needs much in the way of upgrades just a good engine and pipe combo and it runs really well on the track.

It should be a good craik, you have an mcd as well don't you, are there any others, would be good to see them.
cheers simon:)

I think you did well. I hope one day to have a RR V4. As far as handling hard to compare a two wheel drive to a 4 wheel drive does not matter what brand.
