What class do you race in and how many have you done?

Only done 1 this year mate as it's my first yeah Back since 2006 so a bit rusty, so I'm entering in the GT class, normally I would be in saloons but I only got the car last race meet so will see how I do. I am getting myself some glasses so this should help as I find my eyes straining when on the rosterham so hope this will help.

Brad.

Thanks for the pictures and very nice track. I sure do miss racing but there are not any large scales track near me any more unless I want to drive 400 miles one way which I have been know to do. I miss racing so much thought about going back to my nitro 1/8.

2 of the 6 tracks we use are 700 mile round trips, the closest is 100 mile round trip. If you want to race, you've got to do the miles.

Woohoo my mate John has got a fan  To be fair, he is a pro and does a lot of it.

Well I wouldn't go so far to say I am a fan:) I just found the camera settings interesting. Most Pros will remove the metadata so people can't tell what camera or settings were used..unless used for teaching articles....ltr

Most pro's wouldn't come away for the weekend to watch some car racing, get pissed and sleep on a pit bench - but he did.

I know nothing about cameras but thats just a quick link to a host site he uses now and again - especially when he can't be arsed emailing the photos over one at a time.

My post wasn't meant to be negative, hope you didn't take it wrong..

no no no no not at all. I'm sure you know much more than i do about such things. I've just asked him about what you said and he replied - do you honestly think I'd take a good camera to a race meeting where it's going to get covered in dirt and beer lol

Good deal..... Haha.. yes, I just bought a new camera and my old backup will go to the tracks for the same reason:)

I'm sure most pros would have a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th cameras for such times - my phone doesn't even have a camera lol

I am not a pro, but I stopped counting at 4, there are cameras for specific events.

I bought a underwater camera a few weeks ago to take on vacation. then I realized - I can't swim. Man, what a waste! It can be addictive like R/C cars:)

So you have 6 tracks with in 350 miles of your house WOW are you lucky! I do not have ONE with in 400 to 500 miles one way! I have been known to travel 650 miles one way to race but in my situation my pockets are not deep enough to do this regular bases. Count your blessings.
Thanks

I've been racing all over Europe too, both on road and off road. Manchester UK to Gratz in Austria was a fun trip in a VW Polo, all my race gear, camping stuff, clothes, food and the wife.

Is that the Montgomery Track? About the same distance from me one way as well.

All of them at the moment are yes, it cuts down about 80% on maintenance. There are a coulpe of new tracks starting up and they're dirt - they'll soon realise that astro is much easier. We race in Holland at invitational meetings and they're run in doors at an equestrian center so you're running on horse poop/piss and sand, it stains your wheels and shot blasts the inside of your fan cover.
