I was wondering what parts i would need to revert a 5sc into a 5t.
I am planning on buying one in the very near future, but i don't like
the looks of the sc. Would it be a simple body and bumper change, or
is it more involved than that? Thanks for the help, and great forum.

P.s.- i searched but couldnt find anything

i would think it be a body and bumper change myself but not sure since i own a B. on that note though, glad to see i am not the only one who doesn't like the look of the 5SC LOL

Getting expensove now..lol

its not cheap ill tell you that converting a 5b into 5sc will cost you as much as new 5sc, the body alone costs around £150 plus all the other bits you need are not cheap. lol im not trying to put you off, its just better to know what your getting into before you get into it.

Oh, i know large scale is expensive. Nothings putting me off..lol. thanks for all the info though, i appreciate it.

I was under the assumption that since the sc was a truck as well, it would be closer to the 5t overall, im not a fan of the buggies at all. Id trade ya but unfortunately im in Ohio. I also have another question for you guys from the U.K. What the hell is a pikey? I watch alot of topgear, and they're always calling each other that..lol. off topic i know.

To go from an SC to a T, all one needs is a;

5T body either from HPI or Woodster
Front bumper/skid plate - don't reall need to change though
Rear bumper - a bit different, don't really need to change though

The body mounts are the same, all they would need is to be adjusted.

the 5t and 5sc are very similar in many ways check some pictures out on Google mate and converting your b to a t would save alot off money.

I'm lost.....can someone tell me why you would buy a 5SC (£999.98 MMR Price) and convert it to a 5T (£899.00 MMR Price)?

Am I missing something, why not buy a 5T and save £100?

maybe because he got an ss and the 5t was never released as an ss (which is why i got a buggy over the truck) and instead they discontinued the 5t in favor of that fugly 5sc :(

Each to their own mate, personally for me the 5T is a terrible looking car, the SC is far better looking but both are ungainly really, the SC though is scale looking being based on a full scale race series.

The 5SC SS is approx. £930 in the UK so still more expensive than the 5T and the SS version only has two differences over the stock version, I think one is the pipe (what is one of the first things people upgrade on a car???) and the other is the engine but I have not heard anyone tell me what the difference is over the stock engine apart from whats in the name HPI Fuelie or HPI Fuelie S.
