Hi i was just wandering what the list price was for the tk09 when it came out last year(rolling chassiss, no electrics ,engine).i cant seem tofind it anywhere.there isnt a section in the forum for them either. Are they supposidly one of the better 1/5 scale cars, i know they are more of a racing vehicle rather then your typical basher. and are parts easy tofind ,either new or econd hand. thank you.

They were around £1500 for the roller.
Parts are not too hard to get hold of, Jason at rapidracing still has some stock left and Paul at pgracing will soon be the only main dealer for hormann spares. You do get used parts turn up but not that often.
Cracking bit of kit although I wish I had gone for a tk model in the first place rather than upgrade my older model.

thankyou but i don't want to tempt myself to look at it, i am just looking at the mcd ralley or race runner competition or a hormann in the near future, also the harm bx3 looks very nice and lauterbacher supercross, i was also considering the fg leopard but i think i prefer the other 3 models, thankyuou, if anybody has any info on these cars i would like to hear from you ,thanx, does anybody have a link for a plac that sells hormann cars? i checked rapid racing and they don't have any hormanns at the mo.

You need to get hold of Paul Gresty on team5hite.com as his site is down at the mo or you could try nook raceway.com
thanx mike, do you know if the there is a direct alloy replacement for the plastic wing support?
I guess the fg tourer will take back seat,,,again!

I have an 07 chassis to which I have now fitted 08/09 front and rear ends and shocks. The difference is now like night and day to drive it but it would have worked out much cheaper to just buy the newer spec in the first place.
Yes they are expensive but then so are most of the others, the only one that is cheaper is the mcd but then I suppose that being mostly plastic it is cheaper to make although it seems plenty strong enough from what I have seen, shocks seem a weak part though.
I went for a hormann as apart from 1 mcd all the others at the club I race at all use hormanns so knowledge and spares are easier to source, another thing that helped make up my mind was the hormann main dealer about 10 mins from me but typically he is now packing it in.
As Mike said you can contact gresty on team$hite as he runs pgracing, his website should be up and running again soon. If you wanted a new hormann I am not sure what the waiting time would be as the new ht3 seems to have a bit of a wait.
