i was sat around havin a few beers with are kid the other night and we were scratching are heads where a good bashing site would be for the weekend, then i had an idea why don't i try a river jump with my FG MT, i live quite close to the river derwent and theres a few places were a ramp could be erected with a good run up, the jump would be approx 30 - 40 ft although the river will be about 25ft, im not jumping straight into this as theres gunna be abit of planning to do but what do you guys think. i think it would make an awesome you tube video and if i wreck i can just rebuild it better,
let me know your thoughts am i crazy and has it been done before heres the truck:w00t:

If you really love your truck, DON'T DO IT.
If you can't give a toss, and want a good laugh for the hell of it, DO IT !!

When I was at the chill n grill a guy was going to do something like this, he had a twin engine baja, are you the same guy ?

tie it to a fishing rod before you set off then at least you will be able to get it back again cos there will be only 1 place it will end up........yes you are mad :with-stupid::lol::lol:

Do it like we used to do with our hydro-plane boats. lightly velcro a piece of foam in the bed of the truck with a very long cable run through it attached to the frame of the truck - longer than the water is deep. If the truck doesn't make it the foam will float, just grab it and pull the line and your truck back up. Saved a few hydros of mine that way.

ill keep that in mind magnum but hopefully it wont end up like that

I never thought I'd say this BUT, if you used the cheapest poopy servos, radio and had a kill switch then if all goes wrong then at least you've not lost a great deal in money terms - just a load of fishing and even more cleaning.

You've also miss out the "go for it you f*cking nutter and thank gawd it's not my car" section on the poll
