well i have recently bought a king motors 5b ss verson with the 29cc all purple anadized a arms ect ect and went down to the beach to say the least buggy was a good 300 yards away on my run back i hit a 10 inch tall wall that none of my friends nore i seen and i need an over veiw of parts for thw front end i know i need a frame and all the plastic junk in the front end along with the upper frame and shock towers believe the a arms survived along with the steering knuckles even could do with new rear a arms aswell i bent one ahaha so if anyone could send me a diagram of the buggy so i can see what parts i all need so i can order them it would be greatly appecated thank you, in advance.


also i might beable to post some before and after pics if it would help lol :( need to get ordering parts so i can pinnnnnn it again :(
 
best idea i can give you for an exploded view of the km buggy would be to download the hpi baja 5b ss manual. it will give you the complete parts break down. and of course we would love to see carnage pics. and welcome to lsf
 
see if you can get your hands on the hpi manual its got all the exploded views and part numbers. i had my baja 2weeks and blew the diff without the manual i would have been stuck bigtime.
 
missing the wing in the pic of it all together blow the wing apart when i ripped the rear wheel off when i clipped a tree :p its a hobby for a reason ahaha

ahaha i saved my bumper just need to hit it with the sandblaster and give it to my buddy for some new powder coat about the only thing i can straighten i need a main frame, front shock tower braces unless i can straighten them, a new heavy duty top plate, all the plastic bulkhead pieces although was looking at aluminum ones just don't know if it comes with all the bulkhead peices i need having a hard time getting the hpi manual to open .... lookjing at some goodies aswell sand paddles dual boost bottles 2 speed kit front break kit ect ect lol it already has the upgraded front hubs and a bunch of other small stuff guy i bought it off of said he only drove it for break in there was not a scratch on it until i got my hands on it i wont lie i'm so what of a basher \;p but useally i don't do that kinda damage dumb wall down at the beach lol.... the wall problem will get solved though nothing a few wheelbarrows of dirt will solve ill make a new lil jump outta that whole little wall
 
I would skip the 2 speed if you are going to run in the sand alot, you are going to foul the gears up. Try dropping to the 56/18 or 55/19 gear set if you are looking for more speed and get rid of the SS pipe (its junk, I know I have it and its in the trash now), go for a Dom or Afterburner pipe.
 
im not going to be in the sand all that much paddles for snow although it will be out on the beach every so often besides that grass dirt and street mainly, i like how the ss pipe is nice and protected its loud as balls now as it is aswell run around my house with it quite alot don't need it any louder just need to get it fixed 2 speed is one of the last things im going to get for it everything else ill have for xmas ski kit paddles dual boost bottles ect ect lol
 
holy poop thats took a good knock, the chassis on all bajas are weak tho, when you fit your new chassis make yourself a brace from 4mm alloy or 3mm steel it makes them a lot tuffer,
