FG 4x4 dust cover fitment question

I don't think so, the rear diff holder on the 4wd is higher than the 2wd ones. You can try it and cut it down but that a chance you'd be taking.

I've ran my FG's open in the back with no issues for years. Unless you go to a quarry/gravel pit I'd say you're fine.

I'v had FG for years without any major issues although i have broken a few teeth in the past.

I like to bash on sand with acts like sand paper & wears teeth for fun :(
