want a redcoat but mt or xt and what are there flaws i own a hpi 5sc but my wife wants to bash in but for me not to spend a lot of money for her which one last and any problems

I have both and have had only a few problems. On the MT the reciever fried on the second run. Replaced with Futaba system and have not had any other electrical problems on either unit. On the XB the carb was leaking replaced with walbro 990 no other problems. I've had the MT for a year and it's built like a tank. I've had the XB for a month lighter quicker more plastic. Both come with a 30 cc engine when piped they scream pretty good! Great RC's for the price and the sellers on this forum are pretty good. The MT hop ups are much more expensive than the hop ups for the XB. There is a seller with there version of an XB Pro with about a hunbred dollars of hop ups for about 30 buck extra. I can't remember where I saw it but I'm sure if you google it you will find it. That's a pretty good deal. The Mt is a truck and the XB a buggy, its really what you like better I guess. I love them both! No regrets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Bashing The MT is Built like a Tank!!! The XT shares the Same Platform as the XB and it lighter and Quicker......I would Recommend Replacing the Servo's on either on that you Purchase.

Regards

Yes I have both also the MT is a tank if miss lady is just going to bash the MT would be the way to go I have had nothing go wrong yet at all with my MT The XT is lighter and faster out of the box but will need some upgrades to really make it more durable but once you do do the upgrades you will have a faster and more agile monster truck. The MT is huge also much bigger then the XT because of the tires but they share the same body.
