Well, started tuning the motor (TS reed case, custom ported 30.5cc stroker with stuffed crank), and it took about 15 minutes of running to break one of the rear drive cup shafts inside the diff case, just a little before the pin. This is a newer v3 (v4). Is this a fluke or is this going to be a problem with a motor like this?

They sell Upgraded Diff Cups.........I would try them out.....I have them on my XB which has a OBR 29.5 Long Rod and i haven't had an issue...

i thought they'd fixed the diff cup problem as i haven't heard anything about them for a while, tempering works if you do it right...i'm still going on my original set of ringed and tempered mootilizer cups...i made several sets for other rampage owners and they are still going strong, stopped selling them as the issue was addressed...you probably got a dud one

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I'll just get a new set and temper them. Should be covered from what it sounds like. Thanks everyone.
